Biography
Maxwell Ehrnfelt (they or he) is a queer and trans social worker and therapist who practices person centered, strengths based, trauma informed psychoanalysis and play therapy with children, adolescents, adults, and families. Max incorporates harm reduction and disability justice principles, motivational interviewing techniques, and psychodynamic, feminist, and queer theories through a systemic perspective to process how systems of power and settler colonialism impact daily experiences on an individual level. As a writer himself, Max appreciates the vast potential for creative outlets, expressive arts, and passion projects to support positive therapeutic outcomes. They write poetry, creative nonfiction, magical realism, science fiction, and love letters.
