G. Shirisha is a PhD Scholar in Public Health at the University of Hyderabad, India, and a UGCJunior Research Fellow . She holds a Master of Public Health and was awarded a Gold Medal for academic excellence during her undergraduate studies. Her doctoral research focuses on understanding mental health burden and investigating the potential of artificial intelligence, particularly AI chatbots, to support mental health promotion and well being. Her research interests include artificial intelligence in mental health, digital health, and technology driven mental health interventions.
